With green eggs and ham. ![]() With a fully detachable keyboard dock and the ability to transform into an 8.9-inch netbook, a stand-alone tablet, and who knows what else, the Always Innovating’s new Tablet-Netbook-PC is sure to turn some heads. It almost looks like a magic trick the way you can flip it and turn it around to reconfigure it. “What makes it so different from anything else out there is that you can remove the keyboard and turn it into stand-alone, touch-screen tablet PC. It has a strong magnet on the back (flash memory anyone?) so you can hang it on the fridge to keep track of the family’s food shopping list, or use it as a digital photo frame. Or you can can use it as a stand alone digital photo frame/presentation device when in the “V”-shaped standing mode. About the size of piece of copier paper folded in half, the Touch Book is for those who think the iPhone is a little too small. People like me. My user report forthcoming as soon as it arrives in my in-box; if not I’ll go to the local computer store here in New York City and play with it in the showroom for a few hours and let you know what I think. |
