Neil A. Gifford is the Conservation Director for the Albany Pine Bush Preserve Commission, a New York State Public Authority established in 1988 to protect and manage a viable pitch pine - scrub oak barrens in Albany New York. Neil is a graduate of Paul Smith's College where he earned an AAS in Ecology and Environmental Technology, and Plattsburgh State University, where he received a B.A. in Environmental Science and Ecology, and later a M.A. studying the breeding season bird ecology of the fire-dependent...
