Fort St. Elmo, Valletta, Malta

Album Description: Fort St. Elmo, built in 1552, by the Knights of St. John, occupies a strategic position at the tip of the Sceberras peninsula, safeguarding the two (2) main harbours of Malta. Nowadays visitors can explore the fort after a number of years of restoration. Apart from hosting the National War Museum, the fort host a number of concerts, plays, educational and recreational activities, and reenactments.
