Whatever your interest you will find it in Malta whether its bustling fishing ports that provide an abundance of unique experiences, charming cafes, nightlife, clubs, restaurants, and glorious pastry shops that remind travelers of Baroque living. Incredible architecture, historic forts, and a world of Art, rare books and botanical gardens make Malta a must visit experience.

Default Thread Title:  Advice on planning a Hawaiian destination wedding?

Hi all,

My fiancee and I have been discussing/arguing about what type of wedding we'd like to have when we get married next year for a couple of weeks now. Today was the first time I think we seemed to be in agreement, and that was on the idea of a destination wedding in Hawaii with only family and a couple close friends, which sounds exciting and fun to the both of us. We like the idea of having more time to spend with those who are close to us, especially in a unique and fun environment. And perhaps it would cost the same or less as a larger wedding we'd have here in California (and we're hoping to pass on some of that savings to subsidize our friends hotel stay or something).

I've never planned a wedding, nor have I ever been to Hawaii. Obviously I'm going to "Boglehead up" the planning process and shop around for the best deal, but any advice that I might use for those of you who have been to Hawaii, been to a wedding, or been to a Hawaiian wedding?
