Stayed a weekend at the Bentley on 62nd and York. Great view of the 59th St Bridge. Room clean, comfortable and the bathroom was new. The lobby needs work and the hotel is under renovation, but for $97 a night for a King with a view....just fine. There is a restaurant on the 21st floor with a nice view of the city. Biggest complaint - 6 blocks to the subway.

Rates will be a bit more than you spent but you'll find the locations and advantages of having basically your own apartment in NYC in a hotel worth it in comfort and money-saving convenience! Checkout AKA Hotels. They have four in NYC: Times Square, Central Park, UN Plaza and Sutton Place. If saving money is your goal, you'll find that having a full kitchen, fully stocked with all the utensils you need will provide you with an avenue to save money on meals in Manhattan. Being able to have orange juice, cereals, sandwich fixin's stored in your refrigerator will off-set the cost of the daily rate of the suite you'll be rattling around in! There's nothing quite as wonderful as having space to sprawl out with all of the modern conveniences you want
