Besides taxi and car rental, are there other ways to get from airport to Riviera Maya? We'll be staying at the Omni in Puerto Aventuras in December. Thanks.

Hi Roger!
When I fly into Cancun, I always arrange to be met at the airport (and delivered back to the airport) through the services of AGITOURS. The owner's name is Javier Gonzalez and he
runs a tight ship! AGI Tours vehicles are clean and comfortable, his people always look crisp in their white shirts with black trim and the name of the company embroidered on, they are always early so you are never waiting for them to arrive and it's a pleasure to know that someone is there to meet you with a sign with your name on it and to help you with your luggage. Further than that, his staff is friendly, courteous and respectful of your plans and need to unwind and enjoy yourself. When I use Agitours I feel like I have my own chauffeur there whenever I need them! And they are quite affordable!

Not only do I use them for airport transfers but if you want to go sightseeing to see the Mayan pyramids or go to a real, working Mayan village where Mayan people live, AGI Tours will get you there and back. Javier's family history is Mayan so there is great understanding of the Mayan culture that you'll come away with. Javier taught me how to count in Mayan, how to add and subtract and multiply but I stopped when we got to division! The Mayans use symbols and were using a place-holder to represent what we use a zero to do before Arabic numbers that we use today. The Romans could have taken a lesson from the Mayans!

If you have some special interest in music, dance, art, history, water sports, you name it, AGI Tours will create a customized tour for you.

You can contact them by email at: agitours@agitours.com.

Where are you going to stay on the Riviera Maya?
